Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for, and lead, all aspects of the architecture, design, and development of SETG SOA implementation. Will work closely with Dev Ops and Operations teams, as well as other development groups, to ensure all consumer concerns are met. Responsible for ensuring non-functional requirements such as deployment, monitoring, service performance, scale, and security are met. Document application, databases interaction, libraries, and frameworks. Staying abreast of technology trends. Collaborate with other architects and across the organization Create and collaborate on technical design documentation for analytics, reporting, work flow, deployment, source management, support algorithms, service monitoring, and modification to the data model. Work with the QA, development and engineering teams to keep development and testing activities on schedule. Collaborate with Hosting, Producers, Project Managers, Engineering, etc, to identify and prioritize innovations on the application roadmap Assist in team growth and direction of the SOA team Other duties as assigned Requirements BS/BA minimum in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with 10+ years of experience. Advanced degree preferred but not required. SKILLS REQUIRED Proven ability to architect complex software systems Coding experience in Java, HTML5, Ruby, etc Expert in software development processes such as Agile Prior lead experience required
