RQ :: 01 SAP BASIS Lead Skills SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP SM Exp 08-09 Yrs*.IT Duration 12+ Months Location San Rafael CA Rate $ All Inclusive Position 1 No St.Date May 2012 Interview Immed SAP Basis Lead Six to Eight years experience and Extended Knowledge of SAP Basis(SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP SM) from Implementation and Support perspective in UNIX/Linux flavors, Oracle DB and SQL DB - Integration exposures to Siebel, Tibco applications from SAP perspective. - In depth knowledge of Vertex, IXOS, and XiPay with Analysis skills(Application configuration, and application integrity) and Application Savvy * must understand what it means to *break* (or not break) an application from a data perspective. - Subject Matter Expert in ORACLE & MSSQL - Deep understanding of the ERP System Architecture and Configuration. - Personally managed atleast 1 installation or upgrades in SAP R/3 thru ECC 5.0/Netweaver - Experienced in NetWeaver stack - Solution Manager architecture (Service Desk, CHARM, Centralized Monitoring) - SAP Client and Environment Management including Performance Tuning - Single Sign and Central User Administration - Experience in Industry Specific applications a plus(IXOS, XIPAY, Tibco, siebel,salesforce etc) - Hardware Platforms : DELL, SUN, IBM, Microsoft - Work with the entire Basis staff to troubleshoot and advise. - Install, configure, and maintain SAP / database software and patches - Analyze and Resolve Problems - Integrate to overall Disaster Recovery process - Create and maintain database instances and application level structures - Manage database reorganizations - Perform database upgrades - Provide appropriate SAP support for additional products / interfaces - Maintain and manage TMS system - Perform Operating System, Database, and application performance tuning in conjunction with capacity planning activities - Monitoring of SAP application and database - System refreshes from Prod across multiple landscapes - Client Copies - Printer administration(define them in SAP and troubleshoot) - Clustering/HA - Apply Support Package stacks for both ABAP and Java, Kernel patches - Install/Administer tax products like Vertex, Taxware, BSI, Monthly tax updates for the same - CCMS (logon load balancing, operation modes, external commands) - SAP Consulting as it relates to Architecture (sizing, hardware configuration, H/A, redundancy in network, server, location, D/R solution specific to SAP, load balancing, inclusion of dev, q/a, training, connections to other systems, customers, security, etc.) - High level to detail performance tuning - look at all pieces to find, resolve, and prevent performance bottlenecks not just within an SAP system, but also between SAP systems, and other systems or customers. Find bottlenecks that may be disk or disk array related, network related, other application related, database related, code related, server related * Look at the big picture and problem solve and design from there, we are not narrowly focused on only one piece of the client*s solution. - Assist in planning and "how to" for large SAP projects such as upgrades and installations of new products. - Assist in planning the future service improvement. For example, add a standby database for d/r, allow split mirrors for reducing backup times or refresh times, etc. - The position is offshore, however, it may require travel to client site.
