Lead Test Engineer Austin, TX Please Reference Job ID: 300286-4965-12-299312 Volt is looking for a Lead Test Engineer who is strong at developing testing automation. This is a long term consulting role with the IT organization in South Austin area. The Test Engineer will work with the development and QA team to create test harnesses, automate testing, implement new automation tools and create innovative automated test systems. These test systems explore and validate the functional correctness, performance capabilities, and resource usage of our software, as well as their interaction with systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities: " Build advanced automated test suites to exercise our applications. " Work with the development and test engineering teams to automate testing. " Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system. " Train and mentor other team members if needed. Requirements: " He/She needs to have development skills to be able to build the testing framework. " Knowledge of MS Visual Studio Test Manager preferred.
