Enterprise Architect
The Enterprise Architect V develops, maintains and governs the enterprise architecture (EA) across the organization. Define the EA process and architecture review process and guide the integration of those processes with the related business and IT processes. Identify EA issues and engage affected organizations to resolve. Monitor business, market, and technology trends and evaluate their impact on the enterprise architecture. Analyze trade-offs and incorporates them into EA planning to align technology with strategic business objectives. Additional Functions: Serve as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects and programs Act as an advisor to IT management and Business management on advanced technical topics and issues You will be requested to consult on strategic or complex issues Work with Business Partners on significant technical matters related to enterprise architecture Understand, advocate, and support the enterprise's IT strategies Identify business drivers to derive useful business context Analyze the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Analyze technology, industry, and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise architecture Facilitate and contribute to the creation of governing principals to guide EA decision making Contribute and evaluate the selection of EA standards (business, application, information, technology, and security) Consult with teams to ensure conformance to EA standards Participate in the EA governance and compliance activities Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work Act as an expert of Information Technology (IT) subject matter to business groups while defining business requirements Assist in selecting third party Business Partners The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): A Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or demonstrated capability through previous experience and education to perform job responsibilities A Master's Degree is preferred Ten years of architecture experience Demonstrated expertise in at least one (1+) EA segment or EA domain Previous enterprise architecture experience for a whole company or subsidiary Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communications skills Experience in the following areas: team lead / project management, business or systems analysis, technical design, and management consulting Experience with business transformation, application portfolio management, systems integration; data warehouse functions; reporting, and technology virtualization
