Experis is recruiting for their client, a leading insurance provider in Cincinnati, Ohio, for an ETL Developer to join their growing team on a right-to-hire basis. This ETL Developer will analyze, design, build, test and implement extracts, transforms and loads (i.e. the facilitation of data movement across platforms) utilizing Stored Procedures or an ETL Tool. Requirements: Dynamic, professional, team-oriented, self-motivated individual Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related discipline 3+ years ETL development experience; experience with DB2 UDB and Utilities Experience with Ascential Data Stage is required Experience with multi-platform environments and languages including COBOL, OS/390, NT, AIX and Korn Shell scripting language Strong understanding of Data Warehouse Concepts, including star schemas Proficiency in SQL Experience in Stored Procedures or an ETL Tool across multiple platforms is required. Experience with use of a Reporting Tool (Actuate) and OLAP Technologies (Hyperion) a plus Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills Ability to work on multiple assignments Ability to troubleshoot, debug and problem solve at the highest level Ability and desire to mentor others
