SAP SD/SM/LE Consultant Chicago, IL SAP SD/SM/LE Consultant for our client in Chicago, IL. This techno-functional (70/30) role and will be the technical Subject-Matter-Expert for SD, SM, LE; and Functional go-to person for order management configuration; and for setting organizational structures. Additional cross functional experience in MM, PP, or FI are a plus. Responsibilities include: · Technical Expert responsible for Order Management configuration: Complete quote to cash cycle, drop ship orders and intercompany sales scenarios. · Responsible for SAP Organization structure related to Sales Organization, Distribution Channels, Divisions, Sales Offices/Groups and Shipping Points. · Responsible for configuring various Pricing strategies in the system. · Responsible for supporting business in Master Data Management · Implementing credit card functionality in Order to Cash cycle. · Work with various SAP Functional Managers in architecting solutions · Participate in local or global development projects as appropriate. · Develop effective cost improvement strategies Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering with 10+ years IT experience. · 7+ years SAP R/3 4.7 or ECC 6.0 experience in Sales and Distribution (SD), Service Management (SM) and Logistics Execution (LE) · 2+ implementations from Blue Print to Go-Live · Cross functional skills in Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Financial Accounting (FI) · Functional Expert responsible for order management configuration: sales order types, item categories, schedule line categories, text determination, incompletion procedures etc. · Expert in setting up SAP Organization structure related to Sales Org, Sales Offices and Shipping point configuration. · Expertise in configuring outputs viz. order confirmations, invoices, pick tickets, bill of ladings etc. · Configuration experience in implementing Down payments and credit card functionality. · Setting up route determination and transportation planning. · Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels of management. · Taking business requirements from Concept to production · Excellent communication with both written and oral skills. · Knowledge of Planet Press, Quadrate and Vertex tax system. · Proven ability to define user requirements and corresponding system specifications, accurate time estimates and creation of clear and concise documentation. · Collaborate with partners effectively
