Our client is looking for a skilled Helpdesk/Desktop Support Professional for a year+ contract! Summary of Job: Responsible for providing general Help Desk and Desk Side support for the CA manufacturing facility. Provide support services to troubleshoot and resolve issues with office IT hardware including but not limited to desktop, laptop and network printers. Provides support services to troubleshoot and resolve issues with warehouse IT hardware including but not limited to wireless terminals, barcode scanners, barcode label printers, wireless barcode label printers and wireless terminals accessories such as batteries and chargers. Provides support to troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of Warehouse Management System application, working closely with Applications programmers and users. Provides support related to IBM AS400 iSeries System, including but not limited to AS400 wired and wireless terminals, wired and wireless printers, User Accounts, communications, application jobs and general systems monitoring. Work schedule is Monday thru Friday, but may be required to provide support on weekends as necessary to support Warehouse Operations. Working knowledge and experience with MS Office, Outlook, WALLDATA RUMBA, AS400 system, wireless terminal devices and providing support in a warehouse environment is desirable. REQUIRED: Experience with Microsoft Office 2010, Windows XP, Two (2) years+ IT help desk and desk side support PLUS: AS400 iSeries system operations and knowledge of AS400 commands. Experience with wireless terminals and devices. PLUS+ (They would like a Candidate who has previously worked in a Warehouse Environment, support IT requirements !!)
