We are currently looking for Quality Engineer II for a Contract position in Duluth, GA. The Quality Engineer is responsible for verifying the quality of Hospitality and Specialty Retail (HSR) software and hardware products Skills: Formal education level: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Specific skills & proficiency level: Able to work both independently or as part of a team. Able to follow guideline. Able to multi-task. Fast learner, with the ability to work in fast-paced environment. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server Operating System fundamentals, administration, and Scripting languages. Experience: Need at least three years of testing experience, preferably in a UNIX or Windows environment. QA II requires at least 3-5 years of experience Responsibilities: Develop test plans and test cases that validate customer requirements are met Confirm, report and manage defects. Set up and maintain test environments. Ability to prioritize critical elements/actions in the release process. Prepare task estimates and provide input into work plans for assigned projects. Ability to work independently as well as with the team. Posses strong project management skills. Communicate effectively, working closely with internal and external resources, including customers. Responsible for communicating test and general status Identify testing risks and propose solutions to mitigate. Provide escalations in a timely manner and through the appropriate channels.
