TSM Administrator Duties, Activities, Responsibilities and Competencies: Work in a team environment supporting operational issues and project work for our Client's business application environment. Perform backup administration using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) along with support of the associated backup infrastructure SCOPE OF WORK Ability to perform storage provisioning, zoning, troubleshooting of the storage/SAN environment and perform performance analysis on the storage/SAN environment. Development and improvement of process and procedures supporting the storage team, including process automation where appropriate. On-call support 24x7 (normally one week out of -five). Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Required Technical Qualifications: Experience with configuring, managing and maintaining an IBM Tivoli Storage Manager environment is required UNIX, Linux and Windows server operating system skills including the ability to write and troubleshoot shell scripts Desired Technical Qualifications: Experience with EMC Symmetrix & Clariion storage frames, IBM XiV, IBM San Volume Controller (SVC), EMC ControlCenter (ECC), SRDF configurations and use of Brocade & McData Fiber Channel switches. Experience with Cisco MDS Switches and Fiber Channel over Experience with the Centera, IBM ProtectTier, IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center (TPC), IBM Storewize 7000 and NetApp Ethernet configurations (FCoE) EOE
