I have an immediate opening for a QA Tester in White Plains, NY. This is a very long term project. Looking for a senior QA Tester with a Minimum of 8-10 yrs of hands on experience with Manual and Automated Testing. Please do not send OPT/CPT candidates with 5-7 years of experience. At this time we are only looking for EAD, Green Card or US Citizens Only. This is a Contract to Hire Position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Perform full test process for enterprise data warehouse and reporting solutions. This includes manual, automated, performance testing and data validation 2. Design test strategies and test plans for projects. Work with project teams to obtain approval 3. Develop detailed test cases and work with business analysts to understand solution requirements 4. Create automated functional and performance test scripts 5. Execute all functional and performance tests according to test plans and cases, document results, and quickly identify and assist in troubleshooting issues 6. Work closely with project teams to provide testing timelines for test planning and execution 7. Provide input to improve test team policies, procedures and offerings 8. QTP Certified Tester 9. 7+ years experience in manual ,Automated ( QTP), Peformance Testing (Load Runner) 10. Strong SQL Testing skills Qualifications: * Deep understanding and experience in standard testing methodologies * Expert-level, hands-on experience with automated test tools * Expert level, hands-on experience in the use of automated performance testing tools. * Hand on experience in writing sql queries and shell scripts * Ability to communicate with the infrastructure team to recommend alternative solutions for addressing bottlenecks * Insurance/Reinsurance industry experience and knowledge with an understanding of the terminology, business functions and processes is strongly preferred * Experience with VSTS performance testing and defect management is preferred * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Personal time management skills and ability to meet individual deadlines Please respond with Job ID: QA_NY_ZC in the subject line.
