Asset Config Manager(Remedy ITSM Suite,ITILv3,Foundations Certifi),NY Brooklyn, NY Role: Asset Configuration Manager Specialist Work Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201 Scheduled Work Hours: Full Time - 9 to 6 - 40hrs/wk Assignment Start Date: 05/15/2012 SCOPE OF SERVICES: The Asset/Configuration Manager will be responsible for the following: Act as the CITIServ Asset Manager overseeing policies and standards as well as developing processes, systems and measurements to properly manage IT assets and provide support for on-boarding additional Agencies. Design, develop, and implement an automated validation and reconciliation process for assets missing in the CMDB by leveraging Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) software, which will be utilized to identify all infrastructure assets; (Subsequently, the new process will be executed to reconcile the discovered assets with the associated assets in the CMDB). Design, develop, and implement: o An automated auditing process, including exception reports, using ADDM to identify and correct invalid asset attribute information, asset relationship inconsistencies, and for network devices. o A service level management tracking and reporting process to monitor outages relative to critical applications and their associated service level targets. Design and develop a database (Enterprise Mobile Technologies Inventory) to store and manage wireless device information. Create a centralized source code repository (VBA code and procedures) to facilitate code standardization and reusability Provide support for the build out of the new central IT asset receiving department at 2 MTC. MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: At least 8 years of experience as Asset Configuration Manager Full knowledge of BMC Remedy ITSM suite. Knowledge of ITIL best Practices frameworks (ideally Foundations-certified). Solid foundation implementing and supporting Remedy applications; ability to work independently without intensive oversight. Solid foundation in implementing a Asset management process and Remedy Asset module. Also knowledge on configuration management. Must have ITIL v3 foundation certification DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: ISO/IEC 20000 process knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
