We are in the development phase of a new smart phone game. We are creating a fantasy game that will require several hundred assets. Images will include player avatars, monsters, weapons, items, etc. We are still finalizing the asset list, but anticipate 500-1000 images needed. Although the number seems high, in many cases, some images will be slight modifications of one another requiring less work (i.e. the same image, but one yellow, one green, one red, etc.) We will consider utilizing different artists for different sets of assets, but naturally we want sets to have a similar look, therefore we will consider one artist for the monsters and possibly another for buildings. Once the project enters programming, we will have approx two months to have all images in hand and deadlines will have to be met.
