Shelter firmly believe everybody in the UK is entitled to a decent home. Sounds pretty obvious but the percentage of individuals in this country who don’t have this basic right is astounding. Shelter established an in-house street fundraising team in 2004. These first fundraisers achieved staggering results. The message translated perfectly on the street and the public were inspired. Since 2004, Shelter have recruited many hundreds of thousands of donors who give between £8-£10 per month. These donations fund Shelter’s activities and change people’s lives. We are looking for exceptional individuals who want to change the world for the better through our street fundraising campaigns. Whether you are a student who’s about to finish exams and wants to work for the summer, or somebody who is looking to start a long term career in a vibrant and inspiring organisation, please get in touch. Hours of work are 0930 to 1800 Monday to Friday. Hourly rate is £8.50 for first four weeks and then £9.00+ after probation.
