Workload, new Data and storage, voice convergence related internal initiatives What is the project(s) name? Internal Core Projects What are the key objectives for this resource (project summary)? Using the excellent technical solutioning knowledge, this resource will design, build and test networking solutions. What specific CLIENT departments will they interact with? Current Networking design and engineering team, operations and applications teams How long is this project (please be specific)? 6 months to start, can be extended based on skill level, contribution  Design and produce network specifications for CLIENT future network architecture.  Develop project plans for network and security designs, test and implementation of CLIENT enterprise networking projects 30115 – CW Network Engineer (Network Security Lead Engineer)  Provide level 3 networking and security support to operations teams  Review and document current network configurations; design and implement immediate changes as necessary. MUST HAVES: 1. Firewall background (Cisco, Juniper and/or CheckPoint - if you do not have one of these please DO NOT submit) 2. Proxy background (McAfee) and/or Web Filtering 3. Must have both a network and security background -- the security background can be light - 2 years. Requirements:  Minimum 8 years’ experience in design, implementation and troubleshooting large complex networks and network security.  Expert knowledge in designing and implementing network security solutions including firewalls, forward and reverse proxies.  Expert knowledge in Cisco data switching and routing technologies including hardware, layer 2/3 design and configuration development  Expert level knowledge of design and implementation of firewalls (Cisco ASA and Juniper) and proxies.  Good knowledge of protocols - BGP/OSPF, implementation, validation and troubleshooting.  Layer 2 and layer 3 security experience  Current CCNA security, CCSP or higher desired The manager is open to taking a solid Network person who has a limited background with security, but a sincere interest to learn.
