This position is responsible for the application design of SAP applications (ERP, HR, CRM, SRM, SCM) and integration to associated bolt-ons. The incumbent will report to a team lead in the Technical Solutions organization and will be involved in a wide range of challenging SAP based IT projects. An ideal person for this job would be one who has several years of hands-on SAP development experience and has a breath of knowledge in SAP applications, development technologies and architecture. Position Responsibilities: • Design and develop design for IT projects involving SAP applications. • Determine technical requirements of projects to ensure that client specifications are met • Lead and coordinate the technical tasks through all phases of new solutions’ projects. • Work closely with Functional project managers in design of solutions and enhancements. • Work closely with Basis and Infrastructure teams during design and implementation of solutions. • Participate in setting the strategic Application Solutions’ technology direction. Lead or participate on strategic technology projects. • Evaluate new technologies and demonstrate applicability to business process teams. • Learn, help design and implement cross business process solutions • Coach and provide assistance to Sr. Developers and other colleagues in IT. Facilitate the exchange of technical knowledge across the Global IT technical community. • Collaborate with strategic partners in solution development and enforcement of standards • Provide 3rd level technical support for SAP applications Education/Experience: • A bachelors degree in Information Technology or in a related technical discipline (e.g., Engineering or Science) • 5+ years experience working with information technology • 3+ years experience in hands-on SAP application development in ABAP and concepts such as BAPI, ALE, IDOC, BADI, Web Dynpro, Forms • Basic understanding of two or more modules of SAP, and SAP’s portfolio of products • Broad knowledge of IT system development, IT infrastructure and business processes • Broad knowledge of software development tools, technologies and methodologies • Experience with middleware technologies such as SAP PI and CRM Middleware and integration of SAP and non-SAP applications • Systems’ level thinking - see big picture and interconnects • Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills are required Gaurav Shukla Direct-412-267-1613 gshukla@datavibes.com
