Experience should include both QA and development (.Net) with the responsibility of building and maintaining a large test framework. This candidate will help the core team build and maintain an effective build/test/release infrastructure while maintaining the highest application quality to support AP’s initiatives. Proficiency is expected in all areas of enterprise testing with a very high proficiency in building out reusable automation frameworks for web, middle-tier, and backend applications. The tester(s) will participate in all sprint activities with the rest of the team. The tester will be responsible for reviewing user stories, participating in estimation exercises, and task breakdowns in a team setting. The tester will be responsible for delivering a reusable automation framework, automation scripts, working closely with development and QA manual testing counterparts to assure that the testing framework is extendable for both unit testing and QA testing. Responsibilities  Building a .NET testing framework to support front end, middle tier and back end application testing by Development and QA  Create tools and processes to measure automation progress for the team as a whole, individual teams and individual developers.  Monitor and respond to problems in the test automation system.  Work with members of individual teams to diagnose and resolve automation test failures.  Responsible for reviewing user stories, analysing the impact of the stories on automation testing, and bringing any resulting issues to the attention of the team.  Responsible for automating test scenarios for QA, and providing results to development counterparts in order to jointly accomplish sprint goals.  Participate in regular meetings with users to demonstrate progress and the product. Qualifications  Experience and preference for delivering software on an Agile project team.  Extensive experience in .NET Framework including C# and ASP.NET.
