Principal Industrial Ethernet Engineer required for a contract in Germany. You will have direct responsibility for the system design of Industrial Ethernet products deployed in industrial automation environments as smart grid, transportation, oil & gas, mine etc., with emphases on hardware architecture and key technologies. Assist the marketing team to understand industrial automation customer's requirements and make product roadmap planning. Lead technology development roadmap planning in Industrial Ethernet field; as well as conducting advanced technology research on harsh electrical and climatic environments. You will also be responsible for developing innovative solutions and architectural designs for the next generation industrial network products and carry out conceptual design and feasibility studies. Must have a bachelor degree in electronics or telecommunications (minimum), 5 years of Industrial Ethernet product design experience. Extensive knowledge of recognized industry standards for communications performance and rich experience in designing products meet the standards. Knowledge of mechanical and thermal engineering for industrial network products. Hands-on electronics engineering experience, including schematic, debugging and testing.
