Job Title: SAS Consultant/Administrator Location: Chicago, IL. Duration: 3+ months contract to hire Exposure to Credit Scoring type models a plus, along with familiarity of risk management issues associated with scoring and auto-decisions. • 5+ year’s experience in building or implementing analytic support tools and in managing issues associated with collection of data from diverse data sources. • Advanced SAS management and associated IT skills. • Project management experience desired with specific experience managing data related projects. • Knowledge of structured programming techniques and high proficiency in SAS ETL. • The ability to translate highly conceptual analytic concepts into actionable business solutions. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong collaboration, teamwork skills. • Must be able to manage complex projects without supervision. • Integrate data from internal and external sources into SAS-based data stores in support of scoring model development and ad-hoc analysis. • Assess and implement/build integrated modeling environment or “Analytic Workbench” for modelers. • Cleanse and assemble data in support of modeling activities. • Liaison with IT team in support of data assembly and sourcing as needed. • Work proactively and closely with senior analysts / managers to support analytic and modeling solutions. • Present data summary reports and issues as needed. • Strong experience programming with BASE SAS. o SAS character & numeric functions.
