Local candidates ONLY!! Candidate must be able to work on our W2 Position Summary: The Facilities Supervisor will play a key technical role in the Real Estate, Facilities and Corporate Services organization by providing strong leadership in the execution and management of site facilities, project management, process improvements and provide key support to the IT, Facilities and respective leaders, Project Management, Space Planning, Workplace Solutions and Planning, People Leadership, Furniture Procurement Process/Design Improvement, and Operational Management of Facilities Service Providers. Responsibilities: Operations: Budget planning and schedule facilities modification, minor construction projects, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, furniture, and other related costs. Strategic Vendor Selection/Management: Candidate shall work with Facilities and IT to establish best practices relative to vendor selection and management. This includes, but is not limited to: Selection of external service providers to the facilities organization, as well as the auditing of their quality management systems. Development of vendor expectations and best practices relative to performance and suitability. Establish effective metrics around Vendor Performance KPIs Space Planning: Candidate shall work with Facilities and Corporate Services to establish best practices relative to space planning and management. This includes, but is not limited to: Workplace Planning, Furniture Procurement, Managing and monitoring short, medium and long term space and occupancy planning. Developing forecasts and strategic plans to ensure that space needs are met in an effective manner. Allocating and monitoring space across departments and sites to best meet business goals. Reviewing space and move requests across different departments and prioritizing these against corporate standards and best practices. Work Order Management: Candidate shall work in conjunction with Facilities to: Ensure proper inter-department coordination and effective communication on service requests and related projects. Establish effective metrics around maintenance/work order response KPI’s. Corporate Equipment/Asset Maintenance Programs: Candidate shall work with Facilities to establish best practices relative to equipment/asset maintenance programs. This includes, but is not limited to: Defines and drives asset reliability improvement and maintenance strategies. Establishment of reasonable maintenance practices, intervals, and their procedural zed methods. Writes procedures, best practices, and protocols to support critical site programs. Proactively analyzes equipment reliability and down-time data to identify current and potential defects. Optimization of asset reliability, availability, longevity and operational safety through application of Reliability Centered Maintenance strategies and techniques. Establish effective metrics around equipment maintenance, reliability and relevant KPIs Qualifications Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving business requirements Acts independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of projects Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments Strong communication skills; ability to work with different styles. Includes verbal, written and graphic communication styles Strong conflict management and negotiation skills; be able to influence others Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks Build relationships; uses tact and diplomacy in dealing with difficult situations; shows sensitivity to other perspectives Leadership ability to work successfully in teams 10 years of Corporate Facilities/Engineer experience in a large Corporate HQ environment College degree 4 year degree, preferable in Business Management or Engineering Local candidates ONLY!!
