Job Description *** Oracle PL/SQL Developer *** NYC, NY *** Oracle PL/SQL Developer *** One of our Fortune 100 financial clients is looking for a *** Oracle PL/SQL Developer *** to work out of their New York City, NY location. Responsibilities: Write high performing SQL (DML, DDL), triggers, stored procedures, and packages. Write shell and Pearl scripts to execute database batches. Work with other developers to facilitate creation of high performing data centric components and applications. Qualifications: Strong experience working with Oracle versions 10gR2, 11gR1/2 in a UNIX environment. Strong programming experience in PL/SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting. Experience with writing packages, stored procedures, triggers, and complex analytical queries, and experience in tuning complex queries are necessary. Familiarity with Oracle and Sybase replication is desirable. Knowledge of principles of object-oriented design and Java language is a plus. Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to successful conclusion.
