Database Management Manager As a Database Management Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small 3-4 person team responsible for managing and analyzing resource information related to employees and contractors working within the organization. This team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and reviewing accurate resource information in our systems (which includes creating, updating, de-activating resources), auditing time reporting, validating contractor invoices and supporting billing activities. Additionally, the team is responsible for defining and creating appropriate reports for management review related to staffing, resource efficiency and resourcing strategies, analyzing the data and recommending action items. This Database Management Manager position requires a high level of MS Excel expertise, database design and PL/SQL skills. This position will mainly consist of data management, collection and analysis of results. You will be responsible for presenting findings and making recommendations to different groups for their action. In order to maximize effectiveness, you will need to have strong leadership and communication skills as you will work closely with other groups within the organization. You will need to be able to define appropriate activities and provide direction to less experienced team members to accomplish team goals. Required Qualifications: -Expert in analytical techniques -Proficiency with standard desktop applications including MS Excel 2007 (including macros, functions and charts), MS Power Point 2007 and MS Project 2007 -MS SQL Database design and PL SQL knowledge -Ability to collect and analyze data, summarize findings and make recommendations -Excellent communication skills -Detail-oriented, Strong focus on delivery Desired Qualifications: -3-5 years of experience working in or directly with an Application Development organization The position is going to be onsite in Columbus Ohio.
