Connexion Systems & Engineering, a Boston based IT and Engineering Solutions Company immediately seeks individuals with the following skills: Job# 14716 FP&A Consultant (G&A) Finance Management - FP&A G&A FUNCTIONS I. Actively support the G&A management team with regards to financial, operational and reporting issues including management of Business Group P&L II. Planning / Forecasting - Work with G&A directors to develop annual plan / maintain forecasts for operating expenses, capital expenditures and headcount. III. Maintain plan & forecast in Hyperion. IV. Work with global region analysts to validate regional budgets. V. Build monthly forecasts and support development of the quarterly and annual plan. VI. The detail forecast/plan encompasses OpEx, headcount, and CapEx. VII. Manage the reporting, tracking, and reconciliation process for headcount by working cross functionally with the business. VIII. Compile and distribute reports on expense details to management in order to support accurate forecasting. IX. Preparation of monthly variance analysis templates & commentary. X. Compile information from region analysts. Monitor/approve open Purchase Orders & report activity. XI. Participate and support the annual and semi-annual business planning process. Activities would include but are not limited to: developing long-range P&Ls, working with management to develop business cases for new programs, analyzing alternative business scenarios. XII. Support the month-end close process: validate accruals, book entries, and prepare variance analysis and written commentary. . XIII. Prepare Quarterly Business Review slides to present to management XIV. Assist with various ad hoc reporting/financial projects; provide input and recommendations for streamlining processes and making process improvements. XV. Ad hoc reporting as required. XVI. Become a resident expert on Hyperion Planning and other key financial systems Skills I. Preferred experience in the technology industry with medium to large size companies II. 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting III. Strong Oracle and Hyperion Planning and Essbase required IV. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must V. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities VI. Proven track record of successful business partnering VII.
