Design - Death to boring swag tshirts no one wants to wear!
T-shirt type Standard short-sleeve T-Shirt Target audience Men Women Color of the t-shirt material Black Required on the t-shirt At a minimum the full logo (should be attached or otherwise download from http://cl.ly/0v0v2Z0Z1L1W3z1V1p44). Ideally the url too - http://wpengine.com - but it doesn't have to be prominent and could be dropped if the design doesn't allow for it. Style/theme ideas for the t-shirt Rather than more boring swag that no one wants to wear and simply becomes something to sleep in when you're feeling unwell, we want a stylish and fashionable garment. I'm in my early 30's, other members of staff are in their 20's and I want something that we could wear out to a bar or casual meal and not feel like complete tools! :D Our slogan is "finely tuned WordPress" (note capitalization of "WordPress") and our url is http://wpengine.com - which you can include or not. We have some ideas but are very open: Troppo had a shirt designed on 99Designs that had Space Invaders theme on it - something like that which is geek chic is cool. We also have a "cars"/"motor racing" theme (we play up the *Engine* in WP *Engine*) and so a racing team style shirt or something else incorporating a petrol head/gear head theme might be interesting too. Tshirts will be double sided, so something that has the logo more prominently on the back and less prominent on front/or not all on the front is encouraged. Printing all the way up to the top or bottom of the shirt, or on the sleeves is also interesting if it makes the design interesting. Interesting patterns, shapes, inverted colors, etc. We will screen print onto black American Apparel tshirts so needs to be a small number of colors, rather than full photographics. So... * Black tshirt * Double-sided * Must have logo (but not BIG!) * "Finely tuned WordPress" and/or "http://wpengine.com" optional * Geek chic, retro, cars/motoring, interesting patterns, etc are all options Logo vector/EPS can be downloaded from http://cl.ly/0v0v2Z0Z1L1W3z1V1p44 What to avoid Avoid anything that smells of swag, corporate IT or you wouldn't want to wear out and about for a night should be avoided. Avoid putting a large logo on the front - we'd rather have 'party at the front, business at the back'! Avoid modifying the logo - we've established this identity and brand so anything that changes it will look odd. Avoid photographs/photographics as we're going to be screen printing.
