Transformation Lead EMEA
Transformation Lead required by leading telecommunications company on a 6 month rolling contract for their office in the South East of England. This is not a traditional PMO role (i.e. success is delivering the plan). The candidate must have proven Transformation experience (changed the organisation from one state to another state, rather than only implementing projects or systems). Strategic view is required to understand how changing one piece in the organisation will affect the other pieces. Ultimately the ideal candidate will have a well rounded comprehension of business mechanics and will be able to recommend comprehensive solutions to strategic problems, rather than being bound to project management processes. *Build the Transformation Management Office that will deliver these change programmes *Drive the programme forward to completion, influencing senior European leaders and working with their teams to drive the work streams to conclusion (virtual team management) *Manage senior stakeholders on the progress and roadblocks in the Transformation programme oPresent to senior steering committee: the evolution of the project/ identify where senior support/ intervention is needed and articulate/ get the required support to progress the workstreams oProduce required communication/ tracking documentation to give the right visibility of the programme * Define and execute change management *This roles is the link between Strategy and Implementation: the Transformation Lead must have a strategic view and the ability to translate implementation delays/ roadblocks into a clearly communicated impact assessment in the Strategic Plan (quickly flag if the strategy is jeopardised by implementation issues) Specific Knowledge/ Skills: The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial focus with the proven ability to lead change/ transformation programmes in complex environments. The candidate will have a strong background in PMO management as well as Strategy. Ideally the candidate will have worked across business functions and have a sound understanding of sales strategy and operations coupled with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Experience directly supporting & successfully advising senior level executives is strongly preferred. Experience in the wireless/ telecoms industry advantageous.
