Modis is working with a client in Washington, DC who seeks strong applicants for Senior Applications Tester/Senior Applications Developer to support their federal IT Division. The project entails a new enterprise collaboration platform which includes Exchange/Outlook, Lync and custom applications. The incumbent will be accountable for driving test planning and execution based on requirements, and coordinating these efforts with business and technical stakeholders. Extensive experience with data query and scripting tools such as UNIX, Powershell, PERL, VB, C#, and Toad are required. • Strong QA leadership and proven track record in managing testing operations from an end-to-end viewpoint across multiple integrating components with complex scenarios, across business lines and affiliate organizations. • Experienced with medium to large size projects of moderate to high complexity to create test strategies for large program/project initiatives. • Experienced with enterprise level infrastructure and application development initiatives, requiring professionalism and strong communication skills to coordinate with both business and technology stakeholders. • Ensures all information systems products and services meet or exceed company standards and end-user requirements for functionality, interoperability and performance • Manages test environment and QA tools, including defect management.
