TEKsystems is partnered with our premier client who is looking for a Windows 7 Architect for their Windows 7 migration initiative. This position is a contract for 12-18 months with the possibility of extension. This resource will be working from home but the initial 1-2 weeks will be spent in Michigan in order to get acclimated with the client. Our client is in the process of upgrading approximately 40,000 end users to Windows 7 which includes approximately 1500 total applications, 1000 of which will need to be touched, reviewed, etc. Currently 25% of these seats are ready for Windows 7 with refreshes ongoing for the next few years. Our client needs a Windows 7 Architect to help execute the Windows 7 upgrade initiative by creating migrations waves to move through the deployment, identify early adopter, help profile end users. Tops required skills: 1. Windows 7 enterprise migration and deployment experience to include zero touch migration experience 2. Deep knowledge of Windows 7 and SCCM application distribution and OS deployment and Bit Locker experience 3.
