Modify XML input/output
There is currently a .cgi written in C++ that accepts input through a HTML POST request and gives output in an HTML table. Working example: http://centos.osbornewood.com/cgi/testPackBoxesFilledIn.php Payment can be released in two stages if desired. Part #1 Modify the C++ code to accept XML input, and output the results in XML. Any properly formed schema is acceptable. Also, send a different XML Rate Request to UPS. Write a HTML form to test it, similar to testPackBoxesFilledIn.php. Backwards compatibility must be maintained. I might suggest checking for a POST field ( C++ equivalent to "if (isset($_POST['xmlmode']))") to enable this feature, or create a branch of the project to build a separate executable. Part #2 Rewrite a PHP shipping request wrapper to utilize this program. It will take information from our e-commerce solution, output to XML, and call the .cgi. It will parse the XML response and return the values. See data-from-cart.php for sample values. Also, please let me know if you have an interest in regular work of this sort.
