Our client is currently seeking an experienced SAS Data Modeler for a 3 Months Contract to Hire requirement in Chicago IL (but performed remotely). Role: SAS Data Modeler • Strong experience programming with BASE SAS. o SAS character & numeric functions. Some examples include: o SAS/STAT procedures in as much as being able to understand inputs and outputs o SAS BASE PROCs. Some examples include: • SAS MACRO for automation, code generation and data manipulation o SAS ARRAYS • Strong experience taking disparate data sources and integrating them into a denormalized analytical data mart • Enterprise Miner (EM) o Ability to understand current models in SAS BASE and see how they can be migrated into EM. Exposure or familiarity with the following within EM is beneficial: • SEMMA methodology • Sampling Methodology • Exploratory Data Analysis • Model Selection & Data Scoring • Productionalizing models • Data Integration Studio o Ability to understand current ETL processing in SAS BASE and see how they can be migrated into DI Studio. o Experience / exposure with nodes in DI Studio. o Experience / exposure setting up database access, using DI Studio transforms and loading data into target tables. • DataFlux o Exposure of how DataFlux could be leveraged to clean current data. o Exposure in using DataFlux to generate match codes, clean dirty data and integrate resulting sets within DI Studio. • Enterprise Guide o Ability to use Enterprise Guide as a client tool to complete various tasks.
