Requirements: - BS/MS degree in computer science or related field, or a combination of education and related experience (8+ years). Advanced degrees welcome. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Excellent C/C++ coding experience. - Highly proficient in TCP/IP networking - Linux Kernel/*BSD Kernel/Drivers/Hardware experience a plus - Proven proficiency in Linux or *BSD operating system configuration, utilities and programming - Experience with network protocols which employ cryptography, including IPSEC, SSL (OpenSSL), PKI, or certificate management is a highly desired - Scripting language experience including Shell, Perl and Python highly desired - Experience with full life-cycle projects with strong attention to detail - Complete hands-on technical roles in the field and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office or Open Office, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project. - Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; - Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities. - Excellent English communication (spoken, written) skills. - Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills with willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
