Fantastic New Online Charity TV Station Needs Experienced Volunteers
Do A Little – Help A Lot! Start Small – Think Big – Make A Difference. Do you have skills in TV or media – either presenting, designing, producing, directing, creating, editing or researching, for example. If you do, or even if you’re just someone who’d be interested in getting involved in a great new media project (even in an admin role or as a PA to one of our management team), we’d like to hear from you. Who are we? Well, we’re the Wisdom Trust. The Wisdom Trust (charity number 1112323) is a unique kind of charity. First of all we educate people via the internet about the three big global issues - poverty, environment and health - and then we make donations from our fund to support the work of other charities and good causes all over the world. And right now, we're looking to plan and deliver a complete redesign of our online learning zone to excite, educate and entertain users of all age groups, anywhere in the world. We think The Wisdom Trust has the potential to become the next big internet phenomenon and not only that, but to create a legacy for good that will continue long after we’ve all departed this world. And we firmly believe that what we’ve put together is such a brilliant and innovative project, that once fully established, it will set us apart as a truly unique kind of charity. In fact, someone once described us as “The mother of all charities”. A big part of the plan is to launch a new online TV station – Wisdom TV. The idea is to deliver a 24/7 schedule or mostly recorded material, giving opportunities to young people and adults all over the world to become a TV presenter, director or producer and using music, video and a whole range of new shows to further increase awareness about the big global issues which affect the future of our planet. So if you have skills in TV or media, or would just like to get involved, we'd like to hear from you. We have regular roundtable discussions and brainstorming meetings at a venue we have use of in Oxford Street, every day if we wish, but mostly, you'll be able to work on your own computer at home, in your own time. So if you'd like to find out more about what we've got planned and to see how you can help us, just drop a quick reply to this advert and attach your CV. We'll get back to you as soon as we can and invite you to meet with us sometime over the next week or two. In fact, we have roundtable discussions and brainstorming sessions about plans for our website and other online activities, as well as about other areas of the organisation, on at least two evenings this week - in London's Oxford Street, where we always meet - and you'd be very welcome to come and join us. To begin with, we’re urgently seeking a project manager, a project co-ordinator and a PA for our director. Initial informal interviews will be conducted in central London. Let us know if you would like to attend an interview and which position you’re particularly interested in. Thanks. We really look forward to hearing from you and hopefully even to meeting in the near future too. Keywords: Work, Charity, Volunteer
