Your main responsibilities in this position would include analyzing design, developing test plans and test cases, running automation and manual tests to verify device behavior and creating detailed result reports. This job will involve roughly 80% coding, 20% writing test plans, running test cases and bug investigation. Your Job Requirements: Writing Test Specs. Writing Test Code to do UI Automation using JavaScript and Objective-C Test Code. Owning Automation Failure Investigation throughout the Product Cycle. Automating iPhone/iPad App User Scenarios, documenting Test cases for a Test Execution Team to run and bug investigation. Coding will be performed at 80% JavaScript and 20% Objective-C. About the Team You Will Work With: The team is very passionate about games! Most of the people in this team have Xbox / Xbox LIVE experience and several have a history of shipped games. The team enjoys tough technical challenges and have somewhat of a startup culture where they need to deliver highly polished projects quickly. A typical 1-year assignment in this group will involve working on 2-3 different projects throughout the year; figuring out new automation frameworks and ramping up to new technologies quickly. Candidates with JavaScript AND Mobile Phone Test experience in lieu of iPhone/iPad experience - this will be considered. Software Design Engineer in Test (Level 2) Qualifications: JavaScript, Objective-C, iOS and Apple Instruments. 4 years of Software Testing experience. 2 years Testing Apple Mac / iOS components or apps. 2 years performing JavaScript Development in a Web -OR- Mac environment. Experience with Xcode Development environment. Experience writing UI Automation Test Code. Experience owning Feature Tests throughout a Development Cycle. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Bonus Skills - Nice to Have for this Position: Experience writing JavaScript Test Code or Testing JavaScript Web Code. Experience Testing iPhone or iPad Games and Apps. Passion for Game Play and Casual Games Space. Knowledge of Web Protocols and Networking Fundamentals including HTTP, RESTful APIs, XML SOAP and TCP/IP. Excited to learn new technologies and take on new coding challenges.
