Title: IT Staff Support Location: Washington DC Term: 3+ months, will probably go much longer Industry: Finance/Banking/Staff Support Required: Some IT background will be great; need dependable candidates that can work with all levels of management, team members, and vendors. Candidates must have customer support experience. Required Rate: Range is $30,000K-$36,000K ($15-$18 hourly W-2) and will be determined via candidate experience Modis is looking for a very professional IT Support Staff Specialist to join our client,'(tm)s Operations Products Team to aid in their focus to track and close issues raised by task teams, working directly with Tier One/Two Help Desk staff to build their capacity, preparing basic online help, posting responses on and maintaining the Operations Portal Customer Support website, and freeing up staff to focus on systemic product improvements Key Job Functions ,'Respond to end user queries and support requests raised via email and/or other systems; this may include getting additional details from end users as to their activities. ,'Work with the technical team to obtain the resolution to these issues and communicate these back to the end user. ,'Summarize the level of activities (issues raised, closed etc.) and provide these to management. Qualifications ,'Excellent verbal communications skills and ability to capture end customer feedback in written form ,'Customer service background with direct interaction with customer/clients would be a plus; ,'Ability to maintain pleasant demeanor when dealing with difficult situations or upset clients. ,'Some background in technology would helpful Position,'(tm)s Deliverables: ,'Respond to end user queries and support requests raised via email and/or other systems; this may include getting additional details from end users as to their activities. ,'Work with the technical team to obtain the resolution to these issues and communicate these back to the end user. ,'Summarize the level of activities (issues raised, closed etc.) and provide these to management.
