The Testing Engineer II - Chattanooga, TN Position Overview: You will be responsible for daily testing and testing environment(s) maintenance tasks and delivery of appropriate testing processes, procedures, data, cases, and scripts. Conduct all levels of testing for software, hardware, networks, systems, and services and ensure that these meet minimum company standards and defined end-user (functional) and system (non-functional) requirements. Responsibilities: - Conduct performance monitoring and measurement tasks and activities which will include the usage of appropriate testing processes, procedures, cases and scripts. - Conduct Disaster Recovery testing and performance per Testing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Conduct all levels of testing for software, hardware, networks, systems, and services. - Maintain all testing product solution(s) instances Clinical Xchange DEV, QA, UAT, TEST, TRAIN, and STAGE instances - Contribute knowledge base content on relevant quality topics, testing trends and best practice, testing methodology, test case development and data validation/usage. - Provide subject matter expertise on areas that are critical to testing for development and technical staff. - Provide augmentation to Quality Management Team for Defect Resolution tasks and activities. - Provide augmentation to Operations Training Coordinator as trainers. - Maintain Testing SOPs Assist in maintaining the TRAIN Product Solution Instance for use as a training vehicle for both internal and external audiences. Qualifications: - BA in Technology, Business, Education or 5 years equivalent work experience required Experience 4 years of general IT work experience. - 2 years of Quality Management and Quality Assurance experience highly preferred. - Experience with Business Process Management (BPM), or ITSM, environments. - Experience in quality testing methodologies. - Experience with industry leading automated testing tools. - Microsoft testing tool experience highly preferred. - Experience in a clinical work environment highly preferred. Skills/Certifications Strong attention to detail Must be able to interact, facilitate and establish strong working relationships with internal customers, external partners, and strategic vendors
