Mainframe Technical Lead Hartford, CT Direct Client Requirement Job Description: Personal Insurance Business Technology (PIBT) seeks a Senior Application Developer/Technical Lead with a stable/consistent track record and highly experienced in the development and support of Mainframe based applications utilizing full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Engineering Best Practices. The candidate in this position will support large-scale, Personal Insurance, strategic development and maintenance activities. Qualification/ Skills: Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development and support experience in the Mainframe environment. Experience with TSO, COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and Endevor Experience with full Systems Life Cycle Development Experience with code reviews, and development technical specifications, test and transition plans Ability to effectively utilize industry standard best practices in the systems design, build, test and implementation Ability to identify risk and issues and recommend appropriate mitigation plans Ability to deal with changing priorities and meet tight timelines in a highly matrixed environment Ability to work with highly diversified business and technical teams (incl.
