My client is currently seeking a community alcohol specialist to join their alcohol service on a fixed term basis. You will be required to manage a case load of clients who have alcohol related problems. You will provide assessments and treatment options in a community setting. A fundamental part of this role will be to promote positive and mental health attitudes. You will work closely with other health professionals including GP�s, Drug�s Worker, Mental Health, and Dual Diagnosis workers. To be successful you must have at least 1 years post qualification experience in a treatment based community alcohol setting. You will be fully conversed with running treatment clinics, providing alcohol support and treatment services to this client group and experienced in arranging medicated detoxifications if necessary.
