Title: Biologist Location: Durham, NC 27712 Duration: 6 months contract to start   Qualifications: Successful performance requires a sound basic knowledge of the aseptic technique and environmental monitoring testing and the ability to apply fundamental principles and techniques to the problems assigned. Candidate should have background and experience working in aseptic environments and gowning for Grade A and B areas. Candidate should be familiar with Environmental monitoring techniques such a RODAC sampling, use of SMA, Lasair, and compressed gas testing equipment. Familiarity with use of LIMS programs is desirable.      Responsibilities: • Under the direction of a more senior staff member, carries out environmental monitoring sampling of viable surface (RODAC), air, non-viable particles. Additionally samples utilities such as Water for Injection (WFI), Clean Steam (CS), and Compressed gases. Incumbent will perform required sampling, complete documentation or LIMS entry using Good Documentation Practices, and follow all SOP and GMP requirements.
