I've been running a website for teaching programming to kids. I've recently become interested in how people program in languages other than English, so I've decided to try translating my website into other languages. Job description: I have a website at that I want to translate from English into Russian. I have included a zip file with the text that needs to be translated. The translation involves translating some user interface elements (buttons, menus, etc), some text, some diagrams, and some snippets of program code. The files are in .html format, so you should be able to open the files in Word, OpenOffice, or most other common word processors. Simply put the translation beside or below the existing English text. I believe that it will take around 20 hours to do the translation. ** I'm looking for someone with some background with computer programming to work on this project since the project involves rewriting a small amount of computer code into Russian. e.g. The translator should be comfortable translating code that looks like this if (true) { a = input("Type your name"); } entirely into Russian (including the "if", "true", "input", and "a") Source Language: English Target Language: Russian Length of the Document: note sure, maybe 5000-6000 Target Audience: Kids Desired Tone and Voice: informal and appropriate for kids Desired Skills: Russian Translation Keywords: Translation, Russian
