Our customer requires - Outside Plant (OSP) Project Planner Middle East Contract role : 9 + months Ten Live will provide full : · Residents Visas · Health Insurance · Indemnity Insurance · Accommodation · Transport Main Objective To plan and monitor the project activities involving project engineering, scheduling, controlling and coordination of project implementation to ensure contract fulfilment. Key result areas · Project planning · Project data consolidation · Project performance and analysis reporting Main tasks · Clear understanding of the delivery requirements (see KRAs) · Together with Total Project Manager set objectives, structure, organize and plan activities within the Project Planning and Support group. · To assist Total Project Manager in preparing the divisional budget and planning based on set of budgeting process. · To implement and maintain the project master plan and perform project control function · Monitor the progress of the project and initiate necessary corrective actions to minimize the adverse impact on project target completion. · Maintain project documentation in order to efficiently monitor the project. · To manage the assigned processes and to participate in team efforts to improve the processes. · Initiate recovery plans with the Project Management when the project experience setbacks. Interfaces · Service support team · Project team · Customers, Clients · Service providers, resource providers Authorities · Has the authority required to fulfil the functions, work tasks and Responsibilities stipulated above, within the Company rules, regulations and authority policy. · Have access to all information necessary for the fulfilment of the responsibilities as directed by the Project. · To update and issue project schedule and reports based on the progress reports received from the project. · To initiate further analysis of project cost based on analysis reports created. Education · Diploma or certificate (Engineering, Management, Telecommunications) Essential experience · A minimum of Five (5) years telecommunication experience in Project Management and Project Control of Outside Plant Construction. Technical experience · Good knowledge of the concept of project implementation management and its overall objectives. · Solid background and working experience in Outside Plant Implementation process and procedures · Good understanding of outside plant engineering and construction. · Good understanding of the financial impact and implications of construction to the overall project objectives. · Adequate knowledge in application of IS/IT tools used for project management and accounting functions.
