ILOG Rules Analyst (CM)
Project is called `Pension Transformation`, which is essentially automating the current Pension proccesses, which are manual. What will be created will be a straight through processing, automated system. This is a multi year project. The ILOG Rules Analyst will be responsible for creating and formatting the business rules and specifications into ILOG format, managing the business rules, centralizing the processing rules, creating the business process models. JOB Description: Prior experience with ILOG based Rule projects - Experience with Agile methodologies - Experience with Decision Modeling a plus - Proven experience in designing applications which respond to business needs - Ability to analyze code and identify shortcomings/omissions which may lead to output errors - Comfortable working in (or at certain levels, leading) project-based teams of analysts - Experience with strong pension and annuity product / business domain knowledge, including Life Insurance, Universal Life, After-Tax Annuities, and Retirement Plans, e.g., SRA, IRA, Keoghs, 401k, 403b.Trust Services, Educational Savings (529) Domain Expected Responsibilities: - Provides comprehensive production and development support, including problem definition, ticket documentation, and customer support Resolves application and technical problems through rigorous testing and problem identification/solution - Participates in larger project teams, and at more senior levels, leads these teams Tasks and Responsibilities: - Drive rule discovery and analysis phases - Facilitate sessions with SME/IT Interface with multiple IT teams & groups - Produce high quality deliverables and documents Coordinate end to end delivery of rule projects - Provide analysis & resolution of production related incidents Coordinate release management Suggested Experience & Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. 10 plus years of IT work experience in applications programming / analysis. Excellent working knowledge of systems applications software and the Information Technology industry; understands their role in supporting business requirements / technical solutions. Serves as point of escalation for complex issues. Responsible for developing and executing project plans, as well as coordinating groups of IT staff.
