DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE (Northern Lake County, Illinois) Primary Responsibilities: Must be familiar with standard operating procedures in shipping and receiving Operates forklift, cherry picker and pallet jack to load and unload trucks Moves received materials to quarantined areas and releases materials to inventory locations Receives pick ticket and pulls order correctly Inspects orders for accuracy, lot numbers, NDC numbers and verifies completeness Performs cycle counts Stocks packing materials in packing stations Signs for returns and deliveries Keeps warehouse clean and free of hazzards Follows good safety practices Required Skills: MUST have 3/5 years picking/packing experience with no more than one past employer MUST be able to operate standard waraehouse machinery safely MUST have at least 3 years shipping/receiving experience with no more than one employer MUST be able to work Monday thru Friday from 7:30am to 3pm with a possibility of overtime MUST have a great attention to detail MUST be able to meet the physical requirements of the position Compensation: This is a 90 day temp-to-hire position that starts at $11.00 an hour with a dollar an hour raise if hired into the company after your 90 day probation period.
