The selected candidate should have a financial services background (preferred) or large server farm skills (projects at 20k server count or greater). Our Jersey City, New Jersey client's knowledge is always a plus; but not absolutely necessary. This position will be doing everything from assisting in design and hands-on lab build-out of products (end to end provisioning). Design will go from development to production. The group works in Metro New York, Georgia, and Colorado; but the contractor can work remote. They will need Internet connectivity as well as telecom connectivity to run remotely. Day to day the hours are 9 to 5 (Eastern, Mountain, or Pacific is fine). The Product Specific Engineers must possess expertise with BMA and BladeLogic Automation Suites of products. Individuals must have extensive experience working with BMA, BBDA, ARA M, and BladeLogic. They will be utilized as experts of such products for all related technology solutions utilizing these products. Technologist must be hands-on and must be able to engineer, build, and provide expertise in these products as they pertain to systems automation, middleware installation, and business line application installation automation. The successful Product Specific Technologist applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): Orchestration, Schedulers, and Orchestration concepts (hands-on skills for all of these) Software distribution systems like BladeLogic, Microsoft SCCM, and Tivoli BigFix Linux and Windows SysAdmin skills (Weighted towards Linux) For software stacks; candidates should have knowledge around Dynamic Ops, BMC, IBM, HP, and Dell automated virtual and physical build processes and systems Documentation and project skills
