. Manpower is looking for an experienced Purchasing Clerk with at least 3-5 years experience. In this role USING V LOOK UP IN EXCEL IS A MUST!!! The location of the job is in Peabody, MA and the hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00pm. This job is for 3 months and the hourly rate is $16 an hour. Here is an overview of the job description Working under general supervision this position provides general admin support to the Purchasing and Category Team. Interacting with internal and external callers and employees. Processes special orders Confirms purchase orders and files PO confirmations. Coordinate and track intercompany transfers. Process new item set ups, including contacting vendors for specifications and submission to PIM for approval Answers inquiries from sales representatives and others, on the phone or in person Performs data analysis and prepares reports for departmental and management use Primary Skills: Process Drop ships Process Intercompany Transfers Assists buyers with reports and unusual demand reports. Work with buyers to resolve out of stocks. Process new item set ups. Contact vendors for specifications and enter into system for approval of new items. Secondary Skills: A minimum of 2+ yeas of related office experience, purchasing background preferred. Must have intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word. Must be organized and meet deadlines
