As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely in the development team group to provide high availability cloud services to client customers. You will provide architecture and execute security and deployment strategies, scaling and metrics and design our services to but run and supported by subsidiaries world-wide. You must have the skills to join this project and help us launch services in a short timeframe. Responsibilities include: - Design, scaling out, and maintaining client cloud based infrastructure - Design and write code to develop and maintain systems for client multi-tenant services on Amazon - Develop scripts and applications to automate system deployment scaling and infrastructure - Implement horizontally scaled out systems allowing thousands of concurrent users - Build deployment, management and monitoring systems using 'infrastructure as code' tools and techniques Required Skills: - 5+ years software development experience - Expert in Java programming - Expert-level Linux (Ubuntu a plus) and Windows Server - Knowledge of monitoring (e.g. Cloudwatch) and configuration management tool (e.g. Chef, Puppet, etc) - Hosting and cloud-based service experience - Exposure to PostgreSQL, EnterpriseDB important as well as understanding RDBMS approaches to data storage and management - - Amazon EC2/AWS/S3 required especially Amazon scripting for management/deployment - - Integration with system management tools/dashboard - Experience in agile environment using Github, C#, Java a plus Desired Skills: - Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PAAS) - Experience with continuous deployment - Experience in development of a Reverse Proxy including support for HTTP and WebDAV protocols - Web Service development If you are not a U.S. Citizen, please indicate you current work status (e.g. Green Card, EAD, etc.) Please note that we can not sponsor H1-B visas or work through a third party with them.
