I own It is a trades and services directory. Apparently if we optimise our site we can easily be penalised by google overnight and all our handwork undone as we are a directory without any original content. We want to grow our website on the organic google listings so we need a unique idea to help drive traffic to our site for both business owners who want to advertise and for customers to use the site. We want to add value to our site so that businesses that advertise with us can be found on google organically without paying per click. Any ideas? Improvements? changes? are welcome.
