To provide a comprehensive quality control inspection service to ensure that the Company meets all relevant quality requirements, i.e. internal Company, customer specifications, statutory and other recognised quality standards as adopted by the Company from time to time To carry out inspections on the Company's manufactured products at all stages of manufacture including work at Sub-Contractors To ensure that the status and control of non-conforming products is in accordance with quality assurance procedures To carry out new mould tool inspections prior to release for production and/or shall inspect 1st off mouldings from those tools to identify correctness or otherwise to design and make recordings To carry out Inspection Audits on Suppliers and Sub-Contractors as directed by the Quality Control Manager and report all findings To be aware of and use the Company's `Production Inspection' data sheets where applicable and to generate the data for the test reports required by contract and Quality Plans To be aware of the inspection/QC requirements of any contract they may be involved with at any one time and to ensure this they shall read the instructions given in sections 5, 6 & 7 of the Works Order proforma plus the Inspection and Test Plan if referenced on that document. To maintain clear records of inspection findings at all times and report all and every deviation from in house or contractual requirements to the Quality Control Manager or in his absence the Skelmersdale Operations Director. This may be done verbally or by using a prescribed proforma for that purpose. To ensure that computerised Quality schedule worksheets are maintained to cover progress of products through all stages of production including witness and monitor points on Inspection and Test Plans To ensure products at all stages of production meet the required specification To ensure supplied parts meet the requirements of Purchase Order To protect and enhance the Company's reputation for quality and reliability To occasionally carry out Goods Inwards inspection in accordance with CP.06. To carry out such additional functions as may be reasonably prescribed by the Company from time to time
