The objective of this project is to understand the consumer protection and dispute resolution processes of credit card issuers and online payment providers in Taiwan. Consumer protection means credit card users have the opportunity to dispute a transaction. The dispute resolution process refers to the processes that the banks of the credit cardholders put in place to deal with such claims.
