I need a prototype iPad app that allows users to create / import song lyrics / chords and tabs into a song database. Users must be able to select a 'song schedule' or list of songs for a specific event. For each of the songs, the app must be able to transpose the chords to a different key (Similar to this: -guitar.com/e/eagles/already_gone_crd.htm). I expect this app to be quite similar to the Ultimate Guitar App. Most importantly, the app must be able to output the song lyrics to an external screen. I expect that this would be done via a WiFi connection to the projection computer (similar to Air Video, except the other way round). The app should let the user choose the background for the lyrics, and support moving between verse, chorus, etc using controls on the iPad. This is only an initial specification of this app and I have plans to expand it much more in the near future.
