A very successful mixed day special school for up to 100 pupils aged 11-16 based in Hackney, who have complex and inter-related social and emotional, social communication or mental health needs affecting their ability to learn are seeking to appoint an experienced Maths teacher. The successful person must also have experience of a pastoral nature e.g. being a form tutor, completing reports and attending parents' evenings would be ideal. They would be expected to plan their lessons and assess pupils work, aswell as take on the responsibility for some areas of the Maths department.
