Organization name Vootix Description of the organization and its target audience Vootix is a start-up company connecting customers directly with taxi companies through the internet. We aim to allow people to book taxi's through our website directly. This will initially specialise in the UK, France&Belgium and Germany. Target audience will be 18-45 years olds, smart-phone users. Number of pages needed 1 Page descriptions MAIN WEB PAGE Top area: menu bar as a clear one-color rectangle that includes: - the logo on the left - main menu options on the bottom - and key info area (language/about us/contact/help/login) on the upper right -feel free to experiment with a nice motto- any suggestions accepted.something like (relax & ride; ride well; ride easy etc) Upper central area: nicely aligned with top meanu with beautiful background picture that shows - featured topic on the left - main search functionality on the left (in our case the entry fields for taxi travellers) Lower central area: again, nicely aligned on the sides with the area above - WHITE (!) background (light grey would also work for us) with individual information boxes seperated from the background mainly by shadows - enough spacing in between boxes for clarity Bottom area: also aligned with area above (black rectangle for vootix)), showing links to standard information such as sitemap, legal information/disclaimers, privacy policy, etc.. see attachment 2. Vootix will concentrate primarily in the UK, France, Belgium, and Germany in its first phase. We therefore need to show 3 language options available: English, French, German. 3. Social networking will be used (so twitter, facebook will need to be shown) 4. Payment can be done through the website, so need to show payment options (paypal, visa, mastercard, visa electron, solo, maestro) 5. Apps (for android, apple) will be ready, so need to have this indicated on webpage to show its available Style/theme ideas for the website -Color scheme: same colors as our vootix logo - 50% orange (to distinguish our colors from competitors), 25% black, 25% yellow elements. But feel free to experiment.-text that is simple to ready -smooth sleek simple design-images/photographs with taxi images or images of taxi's or people using taxi's! What to avoid Overdesign - the website too crowded or busy Overly complicated letters - which you have too think too much to understand. the text should be easily recognised.
