Our client, located in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Deployment Engineer who will determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks. Responsibilities: Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas Develop and implement solutions for network problems Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge Required Cisco CCNA, CCNP Working knowledge and hands on configuration of Cisco routers, Cisco switches. 3800. 3900, 3750, 6500 Working knowledge of Juniper Firewalls, Junos OS. Must be able to work off hour shifts/nights and weekends; candidates who are not flexible to do this will not be considered
